Bedienung gibt essen über den Tisch?

Hey Leute.

I am a waiter in a hotel, among other things, and most of the people offer me that I give them the plate over the table, but it is not their duty and we cannot expect the guests to do that. I wouldn’t do that by myself!

As a guest, I would have personally offered the service to accept the plate.

A restaurant without stars ðŸ ̃

I don’t see it so tight, sometimes the table is unfavorable or something. And you don’t break a neck out of the crown.

And if it’s the tribal, for example, it’s more like you’re dealing with each other forcibly.

When I go to a “high restaurant” I assume that the plate is put to me.

In our tribal place at the corner, he’ll be handed over the table before… and no, I’m absolutely not.

In my tribal café or tribal restaurant, it wouldn’t matter to me because the staff and we like each other very much.

But in a place where you rarely go or never go, that’s unfamiliar and I don’t think it’s okay!

It’s not common, but that’s why I wouldn’t get upset. This job is also sometimes very stressful and you quickly forget the rules.

Well, the host probably didn’t get a trained and not even trained staff…. nevertheless, such rules should be given to unskilled staff before you let it go to the guests.

I’d even like to have the plate.

Depending on where you are (isst) – in the beer garden I don’t care – in the good place.

I really don’t care, or I’ve never thought about it.

I wouldn’t care. Even if I had to pay a lot, it would be fine for me to pick up my plate in the kitchen and bring it back.

As long as I don’t have to cook or rinse myself, I don’t care.

I guess it depends on what kind of restaurant that was.

In a simple restaurant I also expect simple service.

I would also expect a better service in the case of high-quality restaurants with appropriate prices.

Service gives food over the table?

There are situations, that’s better for me than if my accompaniment bends.

But in principle, this is not possible. I’ll give you 100% right.

You only have to turn into “high” places – of course, it has its price…

As if there were no real problems.

Then don’t give a tip if it triggers you…:(

Then stop going there next time!

Deichgoettin

I really don’t like that, I want her to put my plate.

Then you don’t have to go to a normal restaurant, but to a “high” restaurant. What do you expect, an overhead with white gloves? The higher the restaurant is, the more exclusive the service.

Then just tell the operator.

Or I don’t take him with a friendly “please put him here”

I’m not so sensitive, a friendly service is more important to me.

I have no problem with taking my plate and putting it on my own.

Only if I’m in an upscale restaurant I expect him to be put to me.

As long as it’s not a plate with hot soup, I wouldn’t care.

Why did you take the plate?

Yeah, I’ll get some pain.

Luna0610

I don’t care. As an adult, helpful person, I am able to take my plate myself when he is given to me.

It always depends on what kind of restaurant you eat. With more demanding restaurants with well-trained staff, you will not see that the waiter is holding the plate over the table.

I’ve only experienced this in the ’80s, in the village pub. And that was normal. And importantly it is not

alterzapp

If that’s over 50€ on the plate, I’m even insulted.

If you pay 50€ for a single gear, then the money is not just for the food. It always includes the ambience. That must be a restaurant. The famous star kitchen is not available either. Stars just get restaurants, never the chefs. All this is included in the evaluation.

The level drops. Also in gastronomic quality. If it wasn’t a very good restaurant and the service was unlearned, maybe a student side job, you shouldn’t be surprised. It is also striking how little in the gastronomy has to be done at “Old School Service” so that guests sing praise hymns. Well, you’re expecting more.

Macbts for us service professionals very easy. You just have to lie a bit above the sad average and you can brill.

I don’t care.

I don’t care. The main thing of the plates is healed.

Probably she didn’t have enough room behind you to put the plate right?

Or she was not properly learned how to do it right.

But that’s why I wouldn’t let it mess me up.

I’m rather the helpful guy who doesn’t have a problem taking a plate.

I’ve got enough interesting things in my life that I’m thinking about something like that fortunately
