Bed bug molting case?

I hope you can help me. About four weeks ago, I woke up early in the morning with red bites on both inner thighs. The bites were a little itchy, and now they've almost all healed. Then I found this larvae. Of course, I had cleaned out all the closets beforehand, but I didn't find anything on the mattress, bed frame, or slatted frame. And these little creatures… Oh no, please don't let them be bed bugs… Can you please help me? Best, Karin

Hello Karin 😃 this is the case of a carpet or bacon beetle larvae. This has nothing to do with bedbugs. I’ll introduce an article you should read:

I’ve recognized this skinny coat right away, I’ve found such cases in my old apartment. 🥴
