No, that’s something completely different.

Twill is merely a weaving binding, a grain binding and cord is a kind of velvet with a pile (high-standing thread) divided into ribs.

Do you have a picture?

At the top of the bar, look for the picture motif, then your gallery comes when you photographed the desired one before.

Hello and good morning….I have now added a picture of a Cordsamt . You can see clearly the vertical ribs with the ” flott “(free, cut open) velvets.

The one shown by you is a body binding comparable to jeans. I’m still looking.

Jeansstoff is also Twill (you can always see the KΓΆpergrat clearly) but your fabric shown has a clear classification. I’ve got to do some research.

The “body burr” is this slanted weaving line extending from the bottom left to the right, but this does not have the least to do with the ribs in the cord, which clearly run vertically.
