Cotton twill and corduroy?
I'm currently having a discussion with my sister because she said her new pants are corduroy. I'm convinced she's wrong. The website says cotton twill. Are corduroy and cotton twill almost the same or not?

Hey, I recently received a handball player's worn jersey and I don't know whether I should wash it or not. Resin isn't that easy to get out of clothes, and it slowly turns a greenish color, and the smell of sweat will probably start to take over after a while. Can anyone help me? LG
Hello, I've bought several bras this year, and they're all falling apart one by one. After a while, the underwire always shows through the fabric and digs into my breasts. My breasts were measured completely. What's wrong with the bras?
If I want to buy a sweater that usually costs β¬80 but is on sale for 70% off, how much will it cost?
Do any of you have any ideas for confirmation dresses? I'm currently looking for a dress, but I'm having a tough time choosing, and I don't really know where to start looking (i.e., which websites). I'd ideally like something long and modern, maybe dark green or emerald green. Do you know any websites where I…
No, that’s something completely different.
Twill is merely a weaving binding, a grain binding and cord is a kind of velvet with a pile (high-standing thread) divided into ribs.
Do you have a picture?
Yeah, I’d do, can you tell me how that works?
I just know how to insert pictures in answers
At the top of the bar, look for the picture motif, then your gallery comes when you photographed the desired one before.
Gerne:)
Thanks for the star ! πππππ
Thanks, just put it in the question. Hope the picture fits:)
Hello and good morning….I have now added a picture of a Cordsamt . You can see clearly the vertical ribs with the ” flott “(free, cut open) velvets.
The one shown by you is a body binding comparable to jeans. I’m still looking.
Jeansstoff is also Twill (you can always see the KΓΆpergrat clearly) but your fabric shown has a clear classification. I’ve got to do some research.
The “body burr” is this slanted weaving line extending from the bottom left to the right, but this does not have the least to do with the ribs in the cord, which clearly run vertically.
