Battery discharges 4 weeks after inspection?

Hello, I had my VW Golf 8 serviced 4 weeks ago and the battery performance was rated as good – recharge.

Four weeks later, my car broke down. The reason: the battery was dead.

VW recharged the battery and now wants €170 for it, even though I paid €900 for the inspection four weeks ago. Can I insist on a goodwill payment?

One has nothing to do with the other.

Battery can be broken from today to tomorrow

Well, then she may have been broken by the shocks on your ride. Have seen batteries that have given up the mind through a (!) percussion hole. As a result of the impact, the lead plates have dissolved and caused short-circuiting. So again: Autohaus is not responsible here, the costs for your defective and aged battery you have to take over

170€ for charging? I don’t think so….or did you get a new battery?
