It should work without any problems. An extract from BaFin website:

However, as there are many different banks in Germany and these banks have many different customers, the BaFin has not determined which documents are always sufficient and which documents are not to be recognized. The bank knows the customer best and can therefore decide which documents they accept from which customer. The aim is to prove the legal origin of the cash.
In individual cases, the bank can also accept individual evidence, such as a customer’s statement on the origin of the saved cash. There is therefore no need to worry that, for example, long-lost cash can no longer be paid to the bank.

the last account statements of the last three years printed out and the payouts marked.

Is it so far that you have to have a bad conscience for saving, even as a potential tax evader with a leg in jail?

What does the lender do to your account management? Conversely do it and blacken the positions you don’t want to explain.

In case of cash payment of larger sums of money on a current account, each bank is obliged to check the action for money laundering. For a deposit of 10,000 euros a year, the bank must check. For depositing smaller sums, the bank may check.

If there is money laundering, the bank must report the deposit to the competent authority.

evidence of cash withdrawals can eliminate suspicion. In this respect, the idea with the account statements is not bad.

However: Even if you didn’t pay rent, you’ll probably have expenses. The amount to be paid should therefore be smaller than the amount to be deducted. Since you cannot increase cash in the greenhouse, it would be little credible if exactly the same amount can be repaid.

Yeah. If it becomes so complicated, the bank would rather leave the investigations to the authority. Saves work and avoids errors.
