Of course, who should forbid you?

If you didn’t steal it, you can do whatever you want…

With a little imagination, you can do something about it.
Look for an interface of the scanner, look for a tag where you can find the data sheet. It becomes quite simple when it is a serial scanner. I would like to join a MAX232, then the data TTL level and then you can torment a bug like the Arduino (actually an ATMEGA328P) with it 🙂

What can you do with it, I’ll let my imagination play:
– Access system with barcode cards
– Management of a collection, a label printer also creates all barcodes
– Time detection system
– Music box, each barcode plays another title on the player
– Bastel a shop for your children, while scanning, a stored name of the scanned product is printed on a Bonprinter…

Let your imagination go…

Yes, of course, if you see use for it

Do you think there’s a barcode scanner law that prohibits it? 😀
Yeah, you can.

And for what can you use it?

Here comes the reason that no one does – it has no meaning.

Yeah, why shouldn’t you be allowed? But more than with a scanner app you won’t be able to start with it. 🤷

Yes, of course, everyone can use it, and imagine that almost every phone has one!
