For real-time payment, the transaction normally does not take 20 seconds. However, this depends on whether both banks actively participate in the real-time payment system and the system also works. There have always been problems in the recent past. Otherwise about 20 seconds 24/7.

Only if a bank does not participate, then the button is inactive or not visible. If a payment in the second just does not work You’re just going after that, at least after my previous experience. Gruss

A real-time transfer usually arrives at the recipient within a maximum of 20 seconds, a conventional transfer on the following business day (with certain exceptions).

For example, orders in paper form or orders received too late (after the daily closing period) or on a non-business day.

As far as I know on the same day, within Germany, of course only if you don’t transfer real time immediately shortly before closing the bank workday, but costs supplement at least at my bank..

Yeah, you’re right. In real time, your transfer should be on the other account within minutes (if not immediately) – within business hours of course.

If both banks offer real-time transfers, the money is there within a few seconds.
