First of all, I doubt that the C24 accepts and processes cheque entries. I don’t think that the C24 Hotline can tell you anything about a letter from the Sparkasse xy that contained a check. The letter will have already expired at C24. Maybe she’ll send the check back to the savings bank, maybe she’ll turn to you.

Probably it makes sense that you ask the lawyer to leave the check locked and instead give up a bank transfer.

Something more about savings banks. There are not e e Sparkasse but about 350. Going to a savings bank that has not issued this check is therefore completely useless. It is sad that the employee has not noticed that your account details on the submission form do not belong to their own institute.

Everything can happen… this constellation could not have been worse. Who knows where and when the check arrives at C24. The savings bank will have used a general postal address and the inbox must first be forwarded internally there. And who knows how much trouble you get when you don’t take any checks. Either he goes back to the Sparkasse (there you are not a customer, so it can be that the check is simply destroyed because you cannot recognize the facts and cannot book it. Or the C24 sends it back to you, if the robot is smart enough to pull this end at all. Then you wouldn’t have any luck yet. If you have been satisfied with C24, you will now learn the disadvantages of an online bank.

The ones we’ve sent on, the others don’t say arrived… very stupid. Do you have at least one proof of the Savings Bank for cheque submission? if not Dümmer.

In doubt, you should think about blocking the check (the lawyer should do this) and transfer the money to you. 🤷

The exhibitor of the check could have him locked up with his bank if he has not yet been redeemed.

The chances are good, because such checks can only be redeemed for billing.
