Banana for rabbits?

Hi, I have two rabbits and I feed them lots of fresh food. I was wondering if rabbits can eat bananas. I think so, but I'm not sure…

Thanks in advance!👍🐰

Hello 🤗🙋🏽

Yes, they are not allowed too often.

Fruits should generally only be fed to levels of four to six pieces (amount for two rabbits) of any fruit on the day are still healthy.

Banana is very popular and you need to be careful not to get too much of it.

Please don't feed dry food if you should.

I feed my two daily bowls with cabbage and salad and two with vegetables and beet or the like. Herbs also get them from our garden we even dry them for the winter. I recommend that you try parsley, oregano, lemon balm, peppermint, mint, meadow sage, ribwort plantain, thyme, cutting pitch, dandelion, basil and sage basil, but you don't want to try it at all.

hay and fresh water should always be available to them.

Dear Greetings I hope I could help you

May they, but because of the sugar and the starch in it, you should really only give it in small quantities and also rarely, as a small surprise snack, for example

You should generally feed fruits rather rarely or only as a treat.
