Train?

Hey guys

I'm traveling from Bautzen to Meiningen on December 19th, 2020, with two changes.

And the second time I change trains, it doesn't say which platform I need to go to. I have absolutely no idea where to go. Does the conductor on the train perhaps know which platform I need to go to?

What if there's still no platform number by December 19th? How am I supposed to find the right train? The display boards don't even indicate which train is coming from which platform. Besides, I only have 20 minutes to find the platform. Help!

What is in the electronic road map long before then does not always have to vote at the railway station, so always respect the loudspeaker statements or the descent monitors in the train station. Often, the gleis, which departs from the connection trains, is also indicated or displayed in the first train before the stop.

Larger railway stations where distance trains are kept and in which connections are made between different trains, these screens are on the way and in the underpasses or transitions.

Eisenach has six platform tracks on three lanes that are connected to each other via a subway. So it’s a very clear train station where you won’t get lost, even if you’ve never been there. Trains to Meiningen usually drive at gleis 1 or 2, i.e. from the first platform.

Is it about the transition to Eisenach? For this station, the track data for data from 17.12. are still missing.

Just look at the hanging schedules after arrival and watch the display boards and loudspeakers.

Since the track occupancy can also change in the short term, it is not necessary to rely on the track information in the road map.

Important is only the place where you want to go.

Well, after Meiningen. And I drive from Dresden to Eisenach to get there. But there’s no track number in Eisenach on the ticket. So the sheepman on the train in direction Eisenach could know on which track I need? So through his train scan device xdd what I’m not thinking, but that’s why I’m wondering what track I need to know.

Just make a query of the train connection on the side of the train. Then you will see the track.

20 minutes are easy to find the right train. This station without track number will not have 30 platforms or more.

Yes, but where is this at the station on which track I have to? On the electrical panels only when the train arrives and not on which track

However, the track numbers are also displayed at the stations

On the DB side, all tracks are always displayed from where the trains depart.

I ordered online and there’s nothing online. I’m sure the guy in the second. Train knows what track I need or how I can find out

You should only take the right train, i.e. a train that goes in this direction or to the destination. The train is important, not the track.

if you enter your connection here it will also stand there, and even the Schaffner can always be asked, usually there is also a train station mission on larger stations, even those can help.

Over half of the seats are expected to be occupied during the journey.

Possibly, the South Thuringia railway is simply assigned a free track at short notice. This is also indicated at the station on site and 20 minutes will be enough to find the right train.

So you want me to run over the station and look at the taffetas where a train goes in this direction?

Thank you, I believe this helps me more than the others answer bid now if the sheep does not know

Well, there’s no standing there. You can do it yourself: 19.12. Bautzen nach Meiningen. The train from 6:40 – 12:16.

But still thank you, I try my luck at the Schaffner
