Bad internet?

Hello, I wanted to ask why my internet hasn't been working for several days, so let's go back to where it started.

So it started like this: I was at my boyfriend's for a week and when I got home the builders had finished with our new kitchen. Two days later our internet went bad and it just kept getting worse. I asked my parents why but they didn't know themselves. This story is already two or three days old but it still doesn't work and now I can't even use it for an hour without it crashing (which means I keep getting kicked when I'm gaming etc.).

Sorry for the long text but can someone help me

Bad internet, does not always mean that the provider is guilty.

If you are connected to ONLY all by LAN cable, everything should be safe.

Each provider only guarantees BIS to the router; Everything after her has been guilty, if there is any disturbance.

The usually known problem is always the WLAN.

So if the Wi-Fi is bad with you, you have to see why it is.
And that can be anything, from other radio frequencies to the wrong setup of the router and any repeater set up

why my internet hasn’t worked like that for several days

What do your administrators say? Do you have a big problem in your data centers?

It’s not your Internet, you’re at most a very small part of it. The Internet also works exactly as it should.
If you have problems accessing the Internet, it would be easy to determine whether it is on your devices or on your local network. There are most mistakes. And you can and must fix them yourself.
After that, it could also be because the connection to your provider and its network has errors. You can’t do anything on the stretch – this is your provider’s task.

I assume you have 1 & 1 or O2. That’s crap. Actually, Vodafone’s okay. The best is still Telekom. You don’t pay much money for it, but it’s worth it. I have reception everywhere. In every cellar. And there are never problems. In addition, my internet is still very fast at the end of the month, although I am about 18h a day on the Internet.

Restart/resets router once you have access. Otherwise it will be on the Internet, then your parents will have to call the provider, don’t think it has to do with the renovation of the kitchen.

Because the kitchen has been refurbished, this may be due to many, check again everything through I don’t know exactly what the internet modem or the power connection in general!

Disconnect your router from the power and let it go up again, usually helps!
