Selling a car to an exporter with a purchase contract and without license plates?

I want to sell my car to an exporter with an ADAC contract. To reduce the risk, can I keep the license plates with me? Or are there other solutions, such as a down payment and pickup after registration?

Moin,

would recommend to unsubscribe it and thus allow the license plates to be stamped. So you can avoid a lot of trouble.

You make the ADAC contract, register the vehicle before handover and keep the license plates.

Record the handover with date and time and let the buyer record.

If the car has already been unsubscribed from you, you can also keep the license plates. However, if the vehicle is still approved, you must already give him the license plates. Otherwise, he can’t log it off or log it over.

The exporter will never sign the car back here somewhere. This thing goes on a ship and then it goes away.

This is only sold completely

You can unsubscribe the dock and then leave it on your property. But, experiencefully, the export body buys almost everything as long as engine makes noises and the thing somehow rolls. I’ve already sold cars to them, you haven’t even wanted to drive them on the Werkststatthof anymore
