Automatic music playback with Bluetooth adapter?
Hey dear community,
I was recently driving my mom's car (a newer BMW without CarPlay). When I connected it via Bluetooth once, it played music automatically the next time without me having to unlock my phone. I still have an older model that doesn't have Bluetooth, and I'm using an adapter and a shortcut (iPhone 14 Pro Max), but this shortcut only works when I unlock my phone. Hence my question: Does anyone know of an adapter that, once connected, starts playing music on my iPhone, even if it's locked?

You could do it with one Automation in the shortcut app: if Bluetooth connects to the adapter in the car, then play music.
Bluetooth must be permanently activated on iPhone. You don’t have an Apple Watch.
I already have. This also works, but only when my iPhone is unlocked. If it is in the pocket, the iPhone does not execute the short command
No shortcut, an automation. It’s running automatically, as the name says.
You actually helped me. I created an automation that executes a short command. Now I have built an automation that makes exactly the same, but not in the packaging of the short command and that works. Thank you.
