Car lights all on in the back?

Hi everyone, I'm Chris and I drive a BMW E46 318 from 1998 and I have the following problem. The dashboard shows that both rear lights are defective. The thing is, nothing is defective at the rear; all the lights are on. The brake light and normal light are on even though my light is off and I'm not braking. As soon as I turn on the ignition, all the rear lights are on. At first I thought it might be the relays, since the car is from 1998, but I don't know. I'd appreciate any answers and thanks in advance for your help.

Also wenn alle Lichter leuchten sind vermutlich irgendwelche Isolierungen defekt (durchgescheuert, Marderbiss). Dadurch kommt auch die falsche Meldung, dass Leuchten nicht funktionieren.

Wenn Lichter unkontrolliert brennen liegt oft ein Massefehler vor und der Strom sucht sich dann einen anderen Weg quer durch diverse Lampen. Die dürften dann aber nicht so hell leuchten wir normal.
