Auto viele Kilometer?

No one can say that before. Could be that next week he’s doing the grätsche, can also be that he drives another 100,000 km.

Well, yeah. You have to keep an eye on the costs. The car is no longer worth it. Great workshop costs are simply not worth it.

Yes, your car has many kilometers behind it and is not the youngest. However, if one converts the kilometers to the years it has not been excessively burdened.

With regular maintenance, the car is likely to make a few more years.

Don’t be mistaken! This is completely incalculable, and each one who claims something different is either a notorious liar or completely unconscious.

The only possibility would be a somewhat reliable forecast,

  • test the compression of the cylinders,
  • examine the cylinder walls by endoscope on grooves,
  • a motor oil analysis, in which investigations are carried out for traitoral metal abrasions of various origins.

Given the vehicle residual value, a much too high effort. But even a small car can hold (almost) forever. For example, there is a Skoda Fabia with 1.2 million kilometers:

The Corsa C has a lot of things not as they can break in modern cars:

  • Turbocharger
  • no high performance
  • Charge air cooler
  • variable valve control
  • Ad-Blue injection
  • SCR storage cat
  • soot filter regeneration

So I wouldn’t be too worried.

What kills such cars is often not even the engine damage, but the oil loss from shimmerings etc., in which the TÜV shows the red card, the repair is too expensive due to the very high labor cost in view of the vehicle residual value. Or MEHRERE larger repairs are available, such as clutch/exhaust/brake/light machine/water pump…

So I wouldn’t be too worried. I have given my base-Corsa 1.0C BJ2001, which I have always fully entered on the highway last year at 22,000 Km and it is still running. I had the problem that the control chain started to rattle at 130,000, at some point it will skip because the control chain tensioner no longer keeps it on tension. The question is only when. What’s your engine? All engines with more than 1.0 liter capacity have a toothed belt that can be replaced

Can be, don’t have to. The more km the higher, of course, is the chance that more and more will be broken…

If you always have to fill up cooling liquid, something is broken or leaky. Normally, the cooling liquid does not consume.
