Painting a car with a roller?

Hello folks

I want to roller coat my car because the clear coat is peeling off and I don't want to spray it with paint or foil, I just want to roller coat it… I also don't have the money to buy expensive paint or foil… Could you recommend a paint to me?

I would take this one now, even though it says not suitable for cars 😉

So I have already rolled and sprayed cars with hammerite, synthetic resin lacquer, machine lacquer, anti-rust lacquer and many other. You just have to grind enough then keep the stuff.

If you don’t want fibers in the paint, I recommend blowing out or brushing the roll beforehand. As a result, the roll gradually loses fibers which are also distinctly different from the structure.

Once I rolled a car with Deep Black anti effect varnish, the paint was so crassed and deep black…. You could almost never see edges. And in the evening the car was invisible!

You can do it. But don’t complain when it gets nix. Should you think about why it says “not suitable for KFZ”.

On the one hand, the lacquer is heat-resistant, but on the other hand it is not suitable for “tempered” metals. I’m thinking that the paint may be able to leave if the sun really blows on it.

Weaking wet is a must.

If then your substrate is blunt and not grounded on the blank sheet, then you can save a primer if you don’t have a dark color right now?

Only in one compartment you will be informed about the role that works seamlessly. That it must be a small role will be clear to you, but there are different floors to consider here. A ‘flatsy’ isn’t going, it’s those who look like a millitaer haircut. Then this roll has to be cleanly washed out and, before going to the car, work on a separate test surface. It’s up to Muehe.

My first car was more or less scrap than I bought it at the end of my teaching for DM 350.

For the first time, the technology, specific engine/brake/coupling, had to be put into order (there was a friend who was a motor vehicle).

Then the body was on the line – remove grate, some parts had to be replaced/welded, and elsewhere I worked generously with Fieberglasspachtel. Then a slipper and then I painted the car with brush and roll – primer, then the first paint layer – was not so good because I had not thought that every dust particle would be disturbing – but ultimately did not bother, because at the 2nd layer I was more careful – and quite satisfied with the result…

My grandfather was self-esteemed and, after the war, brought trucks to the foreman by brushing. The room air is decisive because the dust particles sit on the paint and pull it up to a kind of mountain.

So much for that, frueher Ford has deleted his cars, despite the tile band.

Better not try to match the colors. Either repaint the car, or only the hood, e.g. in black

Hello,

So I rolled up a car for cost reasons in young years. Looked really bad and cheap. I wouldn’t do it anymore.

Best regards

Don’t listen to the others, do it and send us a photo. Prove us that it will look good.

This is not worth the investment or work.
