Why'it would be a step back to the Stone Age' to ban songs:

A ban on "L'Amour toujours" & similar music would' be a massive step back to the Stone Age! Music is a fundamental, legitimate means of expression for humanity that goes way back to the beginnings of our history. It helps us process emotions, connect & overcome cultural differences.

A ban would' not only restrict artistic freedom enormously, but so the ability of people to unite through music & to find solace peacefully. A ban is like banning our language - simply absurd, grotesque, inane and unthinkable!

And a little sarcasm at the end is so necessary:

Ah, what the's: Let's just ban the national anthem right now! I mean: What if neo-Nazis suddenly start abusing it for their own purposes? Then all we'll really have left to do is hum "All My Ducklings" in the underground so that we don't upset anyone!

Irony off - it's absurd to ban music & song lyrics that contain no trace of racism because of the actions of a few!
