When Life Brings You Down...

Remember, it's only one down, the rest is up

As a little girl, it was always my dream to ride a motorcycle one day. But first I got my car driving license, and for financial reasons it wasn't possible to get a motorcycle license right away.

Now, 4 years later, I'm finally in the process of fulfilling this childhood dream.

I'm here to ask questions about "motorcycles", to educate myself and to benefit from the experiences of other users here. Of course, I would so like to contribute to the knowledge of others myself, if I can.

My milestones so far:

• 07.06.2022 - Final decision made to ride a motorcycle


• 08.06.2022 - First inquiry to a driving school for the A2 license


• 28.10.2022 - Placement on waiting the list for 2023 at the first driving school


• 09.11.2022 - Further confirmation from a driving school by email


• 01.01.2023 - Receipt of the lesson dates, administrative acceptance into the system as a learner driver


• 09.01.2023 - Signing of the motorcycle purchase contract


• 10.01.01.2023 - First time riding a motorcycle on private property


• 11.01.2023 - Signing of training with driving school


• 18.01.2023 - Start of motorcycle theory training


• 07.02.2023 - First purchase of protective clothing


• 13.03.2023 - Theory test - 0 demerit points


• 20.03.2023 - First practical motorcycle lesson


• 22.06.2023 - Practical driving test


• 24 June 2023 - Pick up motorcycle from dealers


• 24.06.2023 - First ride alone


• 07.07.2023 - First ride in a group
