Here God reveals a secret in the Old Testament (at that time still hidden/not yet revealed in the world/before Jesus' birth into the world) WHO God/Jesus IS:
"When Moses once asked God what he should say when the Israelites in Egypt, whom Moses was to lead out of earthly-worldly slavery, would ask him WHAT God's name was, God said: "So you shall say to the Israelites: The 'I AM' has sent me to you!" (2. Exodus chapter 3, verse 14)
Jesus says 7 times: "I AM"
* "I AM the bread of life" (Jesus in John chapter 6, verse 35)
"I AM the light of the world" (Jesus in John chapter 8, verse 12)
* "I AM the door" (Jesus in John chapter 10, verse 9)
* "I AM the good shepherd" (Jesus in John chapter 10, verse 11)
* "I AM the resurrection and the life" (Jesus in John chapter 11, verse 25)
* "I AM the way" (Jesus in John chapter 14, verse 6)
* "I AM the true vine" (Jesus in John chapter 15, verse 1)
Every detail in the Bible is significant: "Seven" is spiritual perfection, comprehensive fullness and divine perfection.
WITH JESUS comes the New Testament.
Both books belong TOGETHER! The Old (before Jesus) AND the New (after Jesus).
The New Testament = the new life!
And YES! Jesus IS God - BECAUSE Jesus IS THE BODY OF GOD!
Because in the Bible we read that God is SPIRIT!
Bible, John 4:24
"God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
Bible, John 1:18
"No one has ever seen God; the only begotten Son (Jesus), who IS God - and IS IN the bosom of the Father, he has declared it."
JESUS IS GOD
Because God consists of three parts LIKE US! For We are made IN His image! Rather said- WE ARE ALSO MADE IN THREE PARTS LIKE GOD.
Human:
1. body
2. spirit
3. soul
God:
1. body = Jesus
2. spirit= THE Holy Spirit
3. soul= God the Father
God said, LET US make man in OUR image!
