Generally speaking, every eye must be able to see 100 percent with glasses. If you want to become a pilot or pilot, you should not be lasered before the first examination.

Body size:The cockpit of a jet is limited – and 30 percent of all applicants are actually too large. Here, not the entire body length is decisive, but certain body dimensions:

Those who do not bring the right measurements for the jet can be suitable for another type of aircraft.

Body weight:The body weight of a jet pilot shall be at least 70 kg and shall not exceed 120 kg. The BMI should be highest at 27.5. Special permits and distinctions are also possible for the different types of aircraft. But: A BMI over 30 is an exclusion criterion.

Tooth status:In the past, fillings were an exclusion criterion for the pilot runway. Today this ban is no longer valid due to technical innovations and plastic fillings. In the dental examination, it is checked whether the fillings (if available) are dense and whether the applicant can communicate well over the microphone.
