Auslandstraum im Studium geplatzt?
Hey Community,
ich habe zurzeit ein “kleines” oder besser gesagt, für mich, ein größeres Problem. Ich möchte nächstes Jahr im Sommer unbedingt ein Auslandssemester machen. Jedoch sind die Plätze für meine Traumuni begrenzt (nur einer) und ein anderer Student hat sich auch für diese Uni entschieden.
Das Problem ist, dass diese Plätze nach dem Notendurchschnitt verteilt wurden und ich war leider um 0,1 Prozent schlechter als er. Nun weiß ich leider absolut nicht was ich machen soll. Ich finde jeder der bessere Noten hat, hat es verdient den Platz zu bekommen jedoch bin ich echt frustriert weil er sich sieben von zehn Fächern anrechnen hat lassen (heißt er hatte nicht einmal halb so viel Lernaufwand) und auch komplett unmotiviert ist, wenn man ihn überhaupt mal im Unterricht sieht. (Achtung: judgy)
Ich bin echt sehr verzweifelt, da ich dort unbedingt hin wollte. Ich weiß, es ist oft Schicksal aber soll ich das nun einfach akzeptieren?

I would write to the university that they should choose me, as I am above average motivated to visit their university, even if my grade average might not be better than the other.
I think every teacher wishes to be highly motivated students.
That’s how you get stiffened on one thing and don’t have a plan B. After all, you can learn something for life.
discrediting others is really stupid and leads to nothing.
The conditions were clear and you had bad luck.
If you only have an ass in your sleeve, that’s stupid. But you can really look around, I’m sure you’re not too late to apply for something else that motivates you.
You should accept it. Why don’t you find an alternative or try a semester later?
There is no alternative and the semester abroad would be my semester
Look at other organizations or plan your foreign semester yourself.
