Ausgleichen in der 10?
Hallo, ich bin gerade in der 10 Klasse erstes Halbjahr und bekomme morgen meine Zeugnisse. Ich wollte eigentlich meine Quali machen und hatte auch die Noten dafür, nur leider hab ich jetzt im G-Kurs Mathe eine 3 brauche aber eine 2. dachte mir aber ich kann doch eigentlich mit einer 2 im E-Kurs englisch ausgleichen oder nicht? Dann hätte ich im G-Kurs eine 2 in Mathe und eine 3 im E-Kurs in englisch. Meine Lehrer meinten eigentlich das geht nicht, aber hier im Internet sagen alle was anderes. (Ich leben auch in NRW) jetzt wollte ich mal fragen, ob ich ausgleichen kann oder nicht, damit ich mich dann mit meiner Quali auf eine Schule bewerben kann. LG

Normally, you will need a grade of at least 3.0 in the main subjects Mathe, German and English for the Quali, which allows you to visit the upper secondary school. In this respect, if this is achieved, you would not have to compensate for anything.
However, I did not go to school in NRW. G-curs and E-curs did not exist at the real school.

In general, there are certain rules in NRW for the acquisition of qualification for the upper secondary school (Quali). As a rule, a note from a G-course cannot be compensated directly with an E-course because the requirements are different. Therefore, your math note in the G course (3) cannot simply be compensated with a 2 in the E course English.
However, schools are sometimes cunent or there are special regulations, e.g. by an examination or an individual decision of the school. The best thing is to ask directly in the secretariat or in the step line to make sure.
