Did you have your qualifications recognized? ANNEX https://www.anognition-in-deutschland.de/html/en/anmeldeschulabschluesse.php
Could then be that they think you are overqualified (=you will be disappointed by your locomotive leadership). Bzw. who think that you are better off in the development of Alstom, Bombardier & Co. (some of which also have development Germany?). English is also spoken there.
Or German level too low?

With preliminary education!
Is that what you’re applying to manufacturers of vehicles?

or here? https://www.alstom.com/en/alstom-deutschland
You can go to trade fairs or the like, where the train is represented. There you can talk to them, so you don’t have any prejudices about the candidate’s name but get to know yourself personally.
Good luck with your search
According to Goetheinstitut there are 6 stages. Whether B 2 is up or down in the scale, I couldn’t determine the speed.
A locomotive guide must be able to make perfect announcements. (the loudspeakers are already bad enough) When I hear as a passenger that my locomotive guide cannot speak perfectly German, I get to do it with fear.
Hello,
Thank you for your assessment! I understand that the locomotive driver needs perfect German knowledge, especially when it comes to testimonials. This is very important for passenger safety and confidence.
In general, the requirements of railway companies expect a German level of B2 or higher. In the Goethe certification system, the C level is the highest and is closest to the level of a native speaker, while the A level is the entrance.
I have been learning German for almost five years and I am aware that I must be able to provide clear and precise information, especially in stressful situations. Therefore, I am actively working to improve my language skills to better meet the requirements in this field.
I am confident that after training I will be able to communicate professionally and fluently with passengers. I look forward to your further tips or experiences.
Best regards
Your writing is definitely far above the level that Bio-Germans deliver here.
You should simply apply for training as a locomotive driver at the German railway. I think you have enough education.
