Second training?
Hi everyone, I'll be finishing my IT management apprenticeship in about two months. I trained at a small company, and it wasn't really fun, but it wasn't bad, I'd say. However, after the first year, I knew I didn't want to do this. My family always said I should train at a big company like Linde.
So now I have a certain amount of know-how in the IT industry because I've already completed an IT management degree, but I'd like to move more towards becoming an IT specialist. Do you think it makes sense to do another apprenticeship as an IT specialist at a large company, where there would be opportunities for advancement in the future?
Since you already have a certain IT know-how, evtl. you can also make a retraining sense…but there could also be companies that would still hire you for these areas, as you already have some knowledge and can acquire knowledge with further training.
However, there is nothing against further training.
They will last three years again, so I would like to see if there may be no retraining for you.
