Which country does Marge's family (The Simpsons) come from?

The name "Bouvier" alone sounds French, and besides, her real name is " Marjorie Jacqueline," which also sounds French. So my question is, is she from Quebec, France, or perhaps Louisiana? Or from none of those, and it's just a coincidence.

Thanks for your answers and ignore any spelling mistakes 🙏

Random. According to the “Simpsons-Wiki”, Marge comes from Capital City. Nothing is known about the origin of her mother, but creator Matt Groening Marges has mother after the wife of John. F. Kennedy, Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis geb. Bouvier, named.

The father of the former First Lady has French roots.

Edit: Marges Father probably has French roots

Marge’s parents are Clancy Bouvier and Jacqueline Bouvier (nee Gurney). It has been proven by Marge in the episode “The Color Yellow,” when she told Homer, “You’re not French, my dad is.” This means that Marge and the kids are of French descent.

You know, French.

There was also in the German, that was towards the end of the episode.

Grandpa gave to that they were from Virgil, a former black slave.

Then Lisa, Bart, picked up positive aspects and explained them with their origin. Homer said this is why he deserves less than his white colleagues.

Marge explained that her father was Franzose. What Homer used for himself, of course, and that’s why he liked so much.

What Marge said she’s not French.

Marge Father Clancy Bouvier is/was French, yes right!
However, Marge was born in Capital City, USA.
