Yes you can – a cable contains nothing that is dangerous

flew until the end of September and we also had charging cables in the hand luggage.

In the checked baggage and not in the cabin baggage.

Are you sure your airline’s backpacks are allowed as cabin baggage?

Why should a charging cable be problematic in the hand luggage? And why should a backpack not be allowed as a hand luggage if it complies with the permissible dimensions?

Why do you ask me? Ask the airline.

Okay, then please link the baggage rules of any airline where a backpack or charging cable is prohibited.

I really can’t imagine there are such bans. I usually use my hiking backpack as a hand luggage and then have laptop, power bank, charging cable etc. in it.

He’s asking you because you’re wrong.

It has little sense to ask the airline for your false statements.
