Thawed ice cream refrozen and then eaten again – is that a concern?
Hello everyone,
Last night around 10 p.m., I took some ice cream out of the freezer (peanut butter ice cream with chocolate chips in a cup) and ate it right away. Unfortunately, I fell asleep shortly afterward until 10:45 p.m., and the ice cream was sitting open next to me. I ate about half of it and refroze it at 10:45 p.m. It wasn't liquid, but it had thawed, especially on the top layer.
I ate it again about 45 minutes ago, but not very much. About another quarter of the cup.
My question: Can one estimate whether consuming it will result in consequences such as stomach pain, vomiting, or diarrhea? It tasted normal and wasn't "crystallized." I would appreciate serious answers, as I'm truly terrified of nausea and vomiting.
Thank you in advance.
Actually, nix should happen
