I've been growing eggplants and they're growing very well, looking healthy, but… They have fruits that initially look a perfectly normal purple, but after a while they turn beige and feel like sandpaper. Really rough and grainy. Who knows what's going on with these things? Thanks for the answers.

It hasn't rained here for about four weeks now. Normally, it would be time to water the lawn. However, temperatures have been hovering around 6 to 10 degrees Celsius for the past four weeks, and the sun has barely been shining. What do you think, should I water the lawn for 1.5 hours?
