Pure theoretically possible, but not recommended. Something is forbidden and if you get caught, there is an ad for heavy intervention in the rail traffic first. Freight trains stop at railway stations, but usually at the freight train station or the other main trains next to the railways, where there is no general public route anyway. And otherwise get on board for various other reasons. You can jump up and drive along, yes, but not recommended as initially said. Also very dangerous, as the trains drive up to 120 km/h fast. It’s not like that. The truck driver could catch you when he goes around the train and controls him, and then gets expensive. Once because of the dangerous procedure and probably because of the delay you caused. There’s a lot to you.

As I said, in your place, I wouldn’t do it.

but here some are rolling so slowly through the station, that is no problem

But there is no guarantee that he is so slow at your “target station”.

Sometimes they also board the train station at 120 km/h. If you’re standing there at the platform, you’ll get respect.

Is prohibited in Germany and is considered to be dangerous intervention in freight transport.

The freight trains in the USA are slow, 60 or 80 km/h, sometimes even less. On the other hand, freight trains in Europe are 120 km/h, sometimes even faster. The freight trains at best have maneuvering steps and stops, which are only intended for speeds up to 30 km/h. On open cars there is no protection against winds or swirled objects, which are then like projectiles. An undercooling or injury would be feared.

In the end, passenger trains do not hold in vain for the passenger change, because the transition from platform to carriage always carries the risk of falling, even more in the case of moving cars and a fall under a moving train should have been the last.

All too dangerous.

And then also forbidden.
