Atomic model according to Dalton?

Can someone briefly explain to me what Dalton's model of atoms was? It states that all matter consists of spherical atoms, and atoms only differ in size and mass. I would be grateful for anything!

Dalton's atomic model says that each substance consists of the smallest, non-particular spherical particles, the atoms. All atoms of an element always have the same volume and the same mass. The atoms of different elements differ in their volume and mass.

I hope your teacher doesn't look at the net now, what search suggestions are coming, but I did a little bit without it being wrong. If you are not sure, here and there, exchange a special word for a more general word and change the sentences. I was looking for "Dalton's atomic model" at Google.
