Well, since you first After check for “small 0” and “small 9” on ASCII 10, never jump out of the loop, because the ASCII 10 criterion is contained in “small 0”. Thus, esi inevitably surpasses the 19 and you get an access error.

Either you build a test that it should never be bigger than 19 or you will check ASCII 10 before you check on numbers. I personally would do both for security reasons…
