Arzt stellt eine schmale Aorta im Ultraschall fest?
Ich war wegen Darmprobleme zur Sonografie und während der Untersuchung sagte er beiläufig, dass ich eine schmale Aorta habe. Er ist aber nicht weiter darauf eingegangen.
Nun steht das aber auch in meinem Arztbrief drin.
Ich befürchte, dass ich da etwas haben könnte, weil ich schon länger in der Gegend eine Enge verspüre, bin aber nicht deswegen zum Arzt gegangen ist, weil das auch hätte nur eine Einbildung sein können. Jetzt denke ich aber, dass doch etwas dran sein kann, weil es zum Engegefühl passen würde.
Wie bedenklich ist eine schmale Aorta einzustufen und wohin würde man da am Besten hingehen?

How important this is to be achieved is so difficult to say. Do you have other problems apart from the feeling of closeness? How does air shortage, shoulder pain etc?
I would simply recommend calling you a cardiologist to make another sono from the heart/the aorta. They can help you and tell you if you have to worry 🙂
I guess it was an abdomen sonography.

aorta
< 2,5 cm suprarenal, < 2 cm infrarenal (above or below the kidney)
Ektasie: 2.5 – 3 cm
Aneurysm: 1.5 to 2 times normal width at the corresponding height
It is probably a random finding without relevance.
