Artificially bleach linoleum?

The beige-yellow linoleum flooring was installed in 2007. It has bleached over the years and is now tending towards a yellowish-gray color. There's a small area of damage. I still have some of the original flooring, but it's still yellow because it's just been lying in a dark closet. Can I artificially bleach it with hydrogen peroxide or something similar?

No, it is not advisable to artificially bleach linoleum with hydrogen peroxide or similar bleaching agents. These chemicals can attack and damage the surface of the linoleum.

Maybe something like this could help here; I don't really know much about it, though:
