Arka Special Blend after water change?

Hello,

Yesterday I set up my new 40x40x40 Betta tank and use Arka Nite-Out II and Arka Special Blend. I fertilize with AquaRebell NPK and Flowgrow, as well as Greenscaping iron and phosphate fertilizer. I've now done a small water change and added Nite-Out II according to the dosage instructions, based on the amount of water changed. I'm not sure about the Special Blend. The packaging lists the dosage for different days (pictured), but doesn't say what I should dose after a water change. Unfortunately, I have no experience with Nite-Out II and Special Blend, as I've never used them in my other aquarium.

Greetings 🙂

Hello,

Because I want to see if it has advantages because I had problems with my other AQ Starke.

This doesn’t surprise me, the ones cultivate plants to death, the others think they can accelerate or overwhelm the biological developments of an aquarium with chemistry!

And I thought you were supposed to make a lot of change in the incoming phase or not?

Wrongly thought, because with each change of water you will be diluted again the desired load of the water, thus the inflow phase is extended!

If you are supposed to

since I am with my other AQ

have several aquariums, apparently lacking basic information

SECTION 3

to stop the problems 😉🤔😇

I was always told in the aquarium shops in which I was told I should have a ca. 30% change of water so that I make a part of the nitrite or Ammonium/ammonia from the water.

This is completely nonsense, therefore also

And with my other aquarium(72l) the one-lauphase Super ran very long

This is due to the fact that the nitifying bacteria require contaminated water (nitrite) to grow, so a water change during the inflow phase is counterproductive!

as I got in the store I should use starter bacteria now I do this at the aquarium.

This is logical because they increase their turnover, as well as with water heaters, which are supposed to eliminate or bind something that is not present in drinking water 🤗🤔

I went to Arka customer support yesterday evening (very recommended) and these could help me with the question.

Then everything is good, but believe me, in almost 50 years of watercolour I did not use one or the other and my basins were still stable, but I had always informed myself well before, at that time, from books and with experienced Aquarians, today with the Internet this goes much easier!
