We need to debate in school. Our topic is: "Should spelling be omitted from exams at secondary schools in Bavaria?" I have already done a lot of research myself for pros and cons, but I wanted to ask if anyone has any good arguments for or against.

Loading...I can't find anything about it in the dictionary etc., but it's used quite frequently online. Only Microsoft shows it to me as an error word, which annoys me. So is it right or not?

I would argue against it. It can be said that someone can be professionally quite excellent, which justifies a good note, although the spelling is bad. But if the spelling can no longer be evaluated, some of the pupils would provide educationally illegitimate texts which make it very difficult for the teacher to judge the professional quality at all. That’s what you’re looking at.
