Are you trying to fool me?

Stupid question, but whatever.

I wanted to sell my old Wii, and even though I marked "Pickup," someone wants me to ship it. Since no one wrote back, I wrote back again.

Here's what came out of it. Is it credible?

Please break off contact immediately , this is a clear and well-known attempt at fraud!

You have or will receive an email allegedly from PayPal or a bank stating that the money has been transferred and that you will receive it the moment you post a package tracking number.

Everything is fake. No bank in the world engages in such transactions. It is not the job of banks to verify shipments.

It always works like this. It's an old scam. Gullible sellers then send out an order without realizing they're being scammed. And that's it – you never hear anything again, the money never arrives, and you're out of your item.

The safest option is still cash on collection . Details are clarified exclusively via the eBay classifieds messaging system, and you never (!) give out your mobile phone number or email address.

And if you still want to send:

  • Only offer payment via SEPA transfer to your account.
  • Do not offer a “secure payment” feature.
  • Do not offer PayPal; not for goods and services , not for Family & Friends , not at all .
  • Effectively exclude liability for material defects (not the “guarantee”).
  • Do not respond to alleged emails from banks, but only send them after you have convinced yourself that the money is actually in your account has been received.
  • Only send tracked.

For the first time, I would have asked what he doesn’t understand about “Only Abandonment”.

“Please stop the auction on eBay to keep away from other buyers.” Is there any other regulations? Just stay away from those other buyers right away, or he’ll get angry… There is no need to read the remaining dubious trials.

Definitely fraud!

You’ll never get your money and the Wii’s gone!

Get out!

Watch this video where you can see how fraudsters are going on at Ebay classifieds. It’s like in your case!

This is, of course, fraud. He will leave the amount back and you lost a Wii and a gift card. In the Aldi, he can also go and buy a card.

You could, of course, contest the rebooking, but you do not have its address, the address given to you probably does not exist or is just a pickup place.

I want him to send it to his cousin.

Then the gift card.

All well-known fraud indicators.

Only missing the picture of the strange Perso.

The buyer should be the one paid and the one who gets it delivered. No third parties in the whole process, no strange pickups.

If there’s any storks coming, you can start a fraud.

Depending on this, he can demand the money back because the article has not arrived at him.

The fact that you sent the article to his cousin is going to explain it.

ZB. At PayPal

The fact that “dir” and then again “they” should be stubborn. This is certainly not a serious one.

These guys are still looking for stupid people who fall in on that.

And that’s perverse. They’ll find one every day.

That’s not what you mean, you asked before.

Report the guy on ebay classifieds.

This is clearly fraud; If someone writes about WhatsApp, it doesn’t work on eBay(|Kleinanzeigen) itself. The chats can’t be reported on eBay…

Never respond to such requests.

jaaa, definitely not respond to this!
