Are you satisfied with your GPU fans?
Modern graphics cards have very good and sophisticated cooler designs with good cooling performance. However, in my experience, the fans are usually rather cheap with simple bearings.
I've always bought very good custom designs from MSI, XFX, Sapphire, and the like, which also provided excellent cooling performance. However, the fans were usually very loud, or the bearings would quickly become uneven, or they would produce annoying background noises.
That's why I wonder why manufacturers of good fans, such as BeQuiet, don't get together with the manufacturers of custom cards and equip the models with their own high-end fans (Noctua does have a few models on offer, but only for Nvidia cards and the look takes some getting used to).
What do you think? Are you satisfied with your GPU's fans, or would you like better ones?

In and of itself, I am satisfied.
Can get a bit loud at full load @ 330W. But I rarely use it at full load.

Meine laufen Tadellos. Selbst unter vollast oder stresstest nicht zu hören. Je nach Peak auslastung mein ich ein Spulenfiepen wahrzunehmen, aber das wäre es im großen und ganzen auch schon.
Nutze die RX 6650 XT von XFX in der Speedster QICK 308 version.
I seem to be much more sensitive in this regard.
I have it under my table anyway, I have headphones on and my front fans are louder than the entire system at full load.
So schlecht sind die eigentlich nicht. Sind halt auch deutlich kleiner als so übliche 140mm Lüfter.
Hab aber das Gefühl das die Lager eher mittelmäßig sind. Meine Karte erzeugt im idle bei cca 600rpm immer ein leichtes brummen.
600 rpm is not a small amount.
Most bequiet fans have a maximum speed of 1000 rpm.
GPU fans require higher speeds because they're smaller. This makes them louder.
As soon as the fans are off the humming goes away.
Humming could also be coil whine, it doesn't necessarily come from the fans.
My Bequiet fans can only be heard at 800rpm at the earliest, nothing below that.
It's not normal fan noise, but an annoying humming.
Was hat die mit den Lagern zu tun? Dass ein Lüfter bei 600 RPM gut hörbar ist, ist normal. Bequiet Lüfter hört man bei 600 rpm auch.
Hat du mal über mehr Gehäuselüfter nachgedacht? Das hilft auch. Vielleicht sind die aus im idle? Sollten sie nicht.
I just don't need the high speeds when idle, or in my case the bearings are to blame for the noise, so a bigger cooler won't help me 😀
Die Karte mit dem noctua Lüftern ist leiser, weil die Karte 4,3 Slots groß ist, und einen Massiven Kühlkörper und Lüfter hat. So kann man die drehzahl Runterregeln.

Unfortunately, mine is always just over 50 degrees, which is why the fans are always on.
My card actually never runs above 850-950rpm under load, so I practically never need the high speeds.
I personally have configured my graphics card so that the fans are completely off up to 50°C, so they don't turn on at all when I'm using it on the desktop.
The thing is, graphics card coolers can often reach 3500 rpm etc.. be be quiet, the normal fans go up to 1000/1200 rpm, the high speed fans up to 2500 rpm.
Of course, if the fan rotates less than half as fast, it is quieter.
Graphics cards need the speed but because the cooler is very small compared to a CPU cooler (considering that the TDP is often higher).

I've been very happy with my two graphics cards (Asus GTX 770 and MSI RTX 2070 Gaming Z) so far. Even that weird OEM AMD HD 6670 is still quite good.
So the fans are perfect for me. Of course, quieter is always possible, and I would prefer them. Noise level is one of the most important criteria for me when choosing a custom design.

Heutzutage ist mehr Marketing als wirkliche Qualität.
Was nutzt mir ein Lüfter der unter Wasser läuft, von Nocuta.
Ein Lüfter muss zuverlässig, effektiv, leise, schnell sein.
Nach Jahren in Staub und Hitze noch zuverlässig funktionieren.
Leicht reinigen lassen.
Und nicht mehr kostet wie eine g’scheide Brotzeit.

Bei der RX 6800 MBA hat AMD wohl ziemlich gute Lüfter verbaut, kann nach 2 Jahren betrieb keine Lagergeräusche feststellen
In der Vergangenheit war ich eigentlich ganz zufrieden. klar, leiser geht immer. Aber zu störend war es nicht. Vollast wa eh nur beim Daddeln und da hatte ich dann auch meist Headset auf.
Ich kann zu aktuelleren Karten jedoch nichts sagen und meine jetzige ist schon 6 Jahre alt und läuft von Beginn an mit Wasserkühlung.

Ja, und wenn ich am PC etwas mache, habe ich keine Probleme damit, obwohl es mit Suchen ist oder Nutzen von Gutefrage. Es läuft sehr gut, als ich mein PC nutzte.
Du beanspruchst ja auch in diesem Moment nicht die GPU.
Der Lüfter wird zu 90% in dieser Zeit nicht laufen wo du nur bisschen im Browser etwas machst.
Sobald du in ein Spiel gehst wo bisschen was zieht wird erst der Lüfter deiner GPU anspringen.
Ich wäre froh wenn meine im Desktop Betrieb ausgehen würden 😀

My fans start running when the GPU needs it.
Du gehst oben auf Leistung dann Konfiguration und rechts steht dann Lüfter-Tuning und habe da halt alles aus gemacht.

You can actually adjust everything there, but unfortunately I don't know if it's compatible with yours, but it should work.

For fun I once set my fan to start at 40 degrees and then it dropped straight from 54 degrees to 43-41 degrees… but I turned it off again because it was unnecessary.
GPUs can run at 70-80 degrees without any problems.

My problem is that the fans start turning up at temperatures above 50 degrees.
Mit 50 habe ich keine Probleme, eigentlich ist meine jetzt auf ca. 50 bis 55 Grad, aber wenn ich intensive Aktivitäten mache, dann könnte das zu 60, oder vielleicht 65 steigern.
Und meine ist bei 50 grad und brummt vor sich hin 😀

Habe ne A2000 und joa der kleine Lüfter nervt ein bissl und produziert ein Geräusch wie ein alter Kühlschrank.
I've never had a GPU fan fail. However, one GPU doesn't have a proper heatsink with fins, but rather an aluminum block. 😅😂
With the right airflow, I've tamed every loud, hotheaded person so far. 😋😅

Werden schon bisschen laut, aber damit muss man halt klar kommen, aber das ist halt bei jeder GPU so.
Ich kann meine meist so weit runterdrehen das man sie kaum hört, nur hör ich dann die Lager 😀
As I said, for example, right now the fans on my GPU aren't running because it's not being used, but if I went into GTA or something like that, the fans would slowly start running because they're needed, and turning the fans down at that moment isn't very smart, unless you want to kill your GPU.
Solange die Kühlung reicht kann man die ja weiter runterdrehen, so mache ich es auch.
But that doesn't make sense, since the fans are there to cool.
Man kann sie ja auch so weit runterdrehen das man sie kaum bis Garnicht mehr hört.
