I'm generally interested in architecture. I like the buildings of Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance, but also those of history.

Buildings with recognition value that have something special in themselves I find particularly interesting. Of course there are also interesting buildings of the 20th century. I like the buildings of Antoni Gaudi very well. In northern Germany I find Bossard interesting https://www.bossard.de/startseite.html I was personally led by Jutta Bassard during my first visit. She was over 90 years old.

In Iceland are the two largest church buildings of Gudjón Samúlsson imposing: The Hallgrímskirkja https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hallgr%C3%ADmskirkja and Akureyrarkirkja https://www.tripadvisor.de/Attraction_Review-g189954-d6840591-Reviews-Akureyrarkirkja-Akureyri_Northeast_Region.html and architecturally the most interesting thing to see on the island.

The architecture of Hundertwasser is also a nice change to the usual modern architecture.

Yes, Rotterdam is very interesting about its architecture and as a city unfortunately totally underestimated. Especially the cube house fascinates me.

The new Zollhof in Düsseldorf is also worth seeing.

But it doesn't just have to be modern architecture, I'm generally interested in architecture and like to compare the different styles between countries. Here in Germany, too, I find it always interesting to see how architecture in southern Germany differs from that in northern Germany. In southern Germany, in some alleys it is almost like in Italy.

I don't quite know what to answer 😆, because I actually rather like Baroque buildings and so dear, but modern architecture I also find interesting.

However, my treasure and I tend to draw attention to the most ugly new buildings. 🤣

But there are also great new buildings! In the past it probably didn't look different, but the ugly one might have broken off for a long time… 😏

I am very interested in architecture, but most prefer Bauhaus (Gothic, half-timbered, Renaissance, Baroque, Wilhelminian style, etc.). I usually like skyscrapers from modern buildings, but above all those who have a more unusual or playful shape, for example a tip or a stepped facade. Shanghai is an extremely modern city and also city-planned. The skyscrapers there are very impressive. Germany has unfortunately lost a lot of great building material, even the Hohenzollern Bridge in Cologne has no more towers than ornament. Germany could be a single museum today, considering that many older buildings have been renovated today.

The beautiful architecture is that it tells a completely own story and culture.

However, less modern architecture. In particular, I like gothics, eg the English Gothic. Or even neogotics, eg the Budapest Parliament building, simply impressive. I like it.

Modern architecture is rather jewelryless compared.

I am very interested in architecture, but not for modern. With few exceptions, I find them more repulsive.

I find the one bare wall at the Berliner Stadtschloss extremely unsightly.

If you reconstruct a baroque castle, please according to the original and not according to the allures of the modern architect!
