Good evening.

I already have the device more than 3 years and are definitely satisfied. Even in the coming years

  • the iPhone with its A14 Bionic chip is still powerful enough
  • the camera recordings thanks to ProRAW are excellent both during day and night
  • keeps the battery well (at low maximum power you should think about a battery exchange if you want to keep the device)
  • it is still provided with updates and future iOS versions.

However, all the time, I am thinking of whether an upgrade has 12 per Max meaning.

The 12 Pro Max is the same model series. Between the 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max there are really as good as no differences, except for display size, battery and the larger camera sensor. I wouldn’t recommend the change.

Instead I recommend at least for iPhone 14 Pro (Max) to attack or wait until next September 2024.

An Apple employee told me that a change from iPhone 12 Pro to the latest model series although commendablebut not necessarily required is. Only those who place the focus strongly on the cameras, much filmed, USB-C and a better battery should change. But you have to take care of it yourself. The differences are noted, in particular the 120Hz, nevertheless iPhone 12 Pro also the next years a super device.

Conclusion: Overall, I am very happy with the 12 Pro. I don’t dare to change.

Best regards

I was satisfied with x, xs max, 11 per Max, 13 per Max, and now 15 per Max. So the 12 will be happy.
