Are there good graphics cards without additional power supplies?

Hello,

I want to buy a graphics card, and I want a good one. Since I only have an office PC, I can't get a graphics card that requires a lot of power. The built-in power supply doesn't have any additional pins to supply power to a graphics card.

It should also be a graphics card that is capable of playing games in Full HD.

I recently had the problem that a few years old workstation with 1kW power supply after I installed a Geforce 4xxx no longer wanted to start, although all power cables were on the graphics card or the separate cable were on the power supply.

So in doubt buy other computers.

And that’s not enough for the graphics in the computer?

buy a new computer because of a bad power supply? Bad advice.

Hm in this case since it’s an office computer it’s okay

As I understood, there is no standard power supply in it, but TFX, look into his answers in the other sub-threads. Buy an overpriced power supply, because rare form factor that may not be used for gamer/CAD workstation GPUs is rather not used and therefore vllt. only weaker power supplies? Bad advice.

Sorry, only with delay noticed that it is not a private computer

Since the GeForce GTX 1650-4GD5 is now used as well as nowhere to buy, the Radeon RX 6400 is currently the most powerful option.

Which CPU is installed in your PC, and how much RAM does it have?

However, this does not fit your question as the RTX 3050 itself in the 4GB version already requires at least 1×6 pin PCIe from the power supply.

Have you written a reply to my comment? There are exactly 2 power supplies for your PC to upgrade 🙂

This is then a modified variant of the original RTX 3050 from NVidia.

There is something similar or there was probably also as RTX 3060-6GB. Instead of the normal desktop GPU, a mobile version of this graphics chip was then soldered on this card.

The conversion should not be worthwhile.

RTX 3050 6Gb has only come out with time and has no external connection 😉

RTX 3050 6GB variant is probably the best solution 🙂

(or you just need to upgrade your power supply)

Then maybe power supply, housing and GPU?

But the Silverstone TX-500 Gold 500W or TX700 Gold 700W should fit?
Both have 2 PCIe 8 Pin 12 V connectors for GPUs. With adapter you can even connect the NVIDIA 4000 series.

You can otherwise sell the ATX power supply and as I wrote above buy the TFX from Silverstone.

or if you really are just about the cables: just make everything nice with cable ties.

What housing and current power supply do you have? The Silverstone TX should actually be in the TFX format.

and normally, no matter if there is a bit of space 🙂

It’s not good, but under 75 watts the RTX is 3050 best.

That’s exactly what he apparently installed xD I would have recommended 😀
