Are the frames of all Moto Guzzi V7 models the same?
Hello, I bought a 2014 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone. I'm a beginner rider and want to buy crash bars for the bike. I was wondering if all frames from different years are the same and if I can use the cheaper and nicer crash bars from the newer models on my older model, or if I have to use the more expensive and not so nice crash bars.
Crash bar new model/ cheap (approx. 100€)
Crash bars old models/ expensive (approx. 160€)
Anyone who knows more about this is welcome to help me
Thanks in advance.
I don’t know, but first of all, the frames look the same and secondly, it would be associated with considerable costs for the manufacturer to change it. You can’t do it without need.
In doubt, you have a right to return when ordering.
Thank you for your help. If my first thought had been, however, on most of the pages on which the New Iron is sold, one speaks in the title only of the Moto Guzzi V7 III (2021), so I am still insecure.
But if I were, as I said, you can send the things back if they don’t fit against expectations and the old version would also be decided to retro.
The frames have different parts numbers, which is a clear indication that they are not identical.
I’d ask you at the Guzzihandel.
