I'm going to Frankfurt am Main airport today and wanted to ask if the two terminals are connected so that I don't have to take the shuttle bus. I'm arriving at Fernbf and would appreciate it if you could help me find a way to get into Terminal 2,

Loading...If I have a longer layover in Athens (8 hours), can I leave the airport? If so, what happens to my suitcase? Do I have to pick it up, or does it stay with the airline for the 8 hours? Thanks in advance! 🙂

The two are connected to one another by the so-called “skyline”, an electrical train. It drives every 90 seconds and is free of charge. How you get to the station is signposted. Follow the signs Terminal 2 and from remote station D/E. Remember that the footpath from the station to the terminal 1 (from which the train travels) takes about 10 minutes.
Yes Terminals 1 and 2 are connected to one another by a single-track, so that you can easily and dry foot from one terminal to the other. The time required is also very low for this purpose.
