Are Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 connected in Frankfurt?
I'm going to Frankfurt am Main airport today and wanted to ask if the two terminals are connected so that I don't have to take the shuttle bus. I'm arriving at Fernbf and would appreciate it if you could help me find a way to get into Terminal 2,
The two are connected to one another by the so-called βskylineβ, an electrical train. It drives every 90 seconds and is free of charge. How you get to the station is signposted. Follow the signs Terminal 2 and from remote station D/E. Remember that the footpath from the station to the terminal 1 (from which the train travels) takes about 10 minutes.
Yes Terminals 1 and 2 are connected to one another by a single-track, so that you can easily and dry foot from one terminal to the other. The time required is also very low for this purpose.
You can go from the train station to the T2.

You can only use the shuttle bus from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 or the highway free of charge when you arrive at the remote station.
on http://www.fraport.de there is a map

by train from 1 to 2 and then the escalator down.
