Are lymph nodes symmetrical on both sides of the body?

I was sick about a week ago and noticed swollen lymph nodes and now I notice that I can only feel one on one side of my neck and two right next to each other on the other side, which is making me afraid, I'm afraid that I might have cancer

Probably not. The whole person is not symmetrical. Heart half left, spleen completely left, liver + gall right, stomach from half-left to half-right . . The lymph system with 500 or 600 or . . . nodes everywhere as required.

And: lymph nodes are not cancer indicators!

Not exactly, but handsome. In the body not everything is symmetrical, see heart

They are not correctly symmetrical and they are not all active in an infect.

Many of them are side by side.

Cancer has nothing to do with, how do you think?

Maybe. Fear causes stress and promotes inflammation, allowing the lymph glands to clutter.

Then you know your fears are irrational.

Not identical, but both sides have them in the same place. Lymphic glands often shatter, even one-sided, that doesn’t have to be cancer. With me, she’s swelling at the neck when something’s wrong with the teeth.
