Unemployment benefit I after parental leave?
Maybe someone here knows about it:
I have two children, whom I had one after the other. This meant I was on parental leave for four years without interruption and received parental allowance. Before that, I was employed full-time and also paid into unemployment insurance. Since my employer is currently over two hours away due to a move, I have to terminate my employment. Does anyone know if I'm entitled to unemployment benefit I after the suspension because I quit?
A possible blocking time due to the self-annunciation of up to 12 weeks after Paragraph 159 SGB – lll should be checked.
I assume that a pendulum time from a simple distance of more than 2 hours is no longer considered appropriate and that there should be an important reason for the termination, then there should be no blocking time.
If you have previously met the ALG – 1, 2 children should be born in succession in the parental period of the first child until the age of 3 of the youngest child is entitled to ALG – 1.
In principle, entitlement to unemployment benefit should exist.
However, it could become problematic after four years, as claim can also fail.
Whether there is a lock would still be checked. You have a legitimate reason to quit. But whether the claim still applies is the question. 12 compulsory contributions must have been incurred in the last 3 years.
