Aquarium – C02 does not switch off at night, despite the timer being set correctly?

Hello, I have a small ada Mini M and started adding CO2 a few days ago. I'm using a HIWI double-chamber pressure reducer with a built-in solenoid valve. (See image). I turn the solenoid valve on and off with the light cycle.

ie If the aquarium light goes out -> the C02 goes out etc.

After the first night, I noticed that the CO2 system ran all night long, even though the timer was not allowing any power to pass through.

How can this be?

For me, it looks like it's all not properly connected?

You need an extension socket that is plugged IN to the plug of the timer. The light as well as the solenoid valve of the Co2 system come to this extension socket.

Please check this again.

Then something will not vote there or with the programming of the timer. I have never experienced a defective solenoid valve.

Co2 "bubbles" always somewhat after – but not over hours…

That's exactly what my impression was, so the demand!

But if the valve clacks, it's all right – because that's the only thing that a valve like "can" – clacken when it turns on when it shuts off.

Hello. Then the solenoid valve seems to be defective. Can you test by switching off the power? If the solenoid valve is defective, CO2 continues to flow into the aquarium.
