Protect apps with a password?

Hey,

I want to password-protect some apps so that only I can access them with a passcode or Face ID. I have an iPhone (13) and was wondering if anyone knows how to do this?
If the information is necessary, I wanted to restrict access to notes, for example.
Thank you

It’s not per app. With the notes you can block individual notes and have a password.

As I wrote, this is not possible.

Hello!

Apple introduced this feature a few weeks ago at WWDC2024. This includes blocking individual apps with Touch ID or Face ID. This comes out in the new iOS and iPadOS 18 in autumn. It is possible to download iOS and iPadOS 18 as Beta now, but I would not recommend it for security reasons.

You can create an automation for the app that starts the lock screen if you don’t look at your iPhone:
