Apply to an acting school without any prior experience?

Do I have a chance? They would make an exception given my age and education, and I was invited to an interview.

I know who's behind "Incognito."

I've already explained a lot to you and tried to help with examples.

Now I have some other tips:

Wait 2+ years.

Join a lay play group or Theater AG at this time to see if you are suitable for stage or film….

…and to learn the basic concepts of acting and how to implement them INDIVIDUALLY…. Monologue!

Take a look at films in which it is generally about examinations before audiences or an examination commission… (no matter whether acting, dancing, singing etc.) or just taking a picture of acting schools or everyday life there…e.g.

  • The test (doc, 2016)

https://www.crew-united.com/en/Die-Pruefung__217365.html

This is about the REALE annual recording exam at the Schauspielschule Hannover….10 places….687 applicants….etc.

Films e.g.

  • Small Sharks (1992, Drama)
  • Fame (1980 original, 2009 remake, all genres)

Kind regards

The chances of being accepted at an acting school
to become extremely independent of the preliminary training
low. Usually you have to show something on stage.

Just a monologue? Nothing else?

Something original.

Of course you have a chance, just a very small one. What monologue do you have
is it planned?
