Application – IHK certificate of previous training should be sent with it?

Good day everybody,

About six years ago, I completed my training as a media designer and worked in the industry for several years, including freelance.

This August I completed a new apprenticeship as a mechatronics engineer.

If I'm applying to a large, well-known company, should I send along my previous training certificates, or is the HR department generally not interested in what I did in a previous, different field of work?

I also don't want to overwhelm the HR department with a bunch of PDFs and immediately get negative points.

What do you say about that?
