Can Apple Watch answer calls when the phone is switched off and within range?
Hello there,
I have a Multi E SIM card and can make and receive calls from my Apple Watch when my phone is out of range.
However, if my phone is within range and is switched off or in airplane mode, for example, I can no longer receive or send calls or messages.
Does it have to be this way? Is it true that it only works when the phone is out of range?
Thanks in advance!
This should not be so, because a feature of the watch is that you don’t always have to use the iPhone.
Can it be that the clock is automatically set into the flight mode? Or turn off mobile?
No, I just checked. She’s not in the flight mode.
The mobile phone symbol is white and will not be blue or green after clicking.
but if I’m far away from the phone, the sign will be immediately green and it will show LTE and then I can also call etc…
Strange. Even if the clock shuts off your mobile phone next to the iPhone to save battery, you should still be able to make calls.
But you have Bluetooth on both devices?
But still thank you!
Puh, I don’t know.
Yes
