Block AOL email address?

Hey dear ones,

Please don't comment on how outdated AOL is. Simply changing the address isn't possible, since everything runs through this address.

I'd like to block a sender on AOL (my ex-boyfriend), but I don't know how. I've already googled it, clicked on all the tabs, but haven't found anything. I'm getting desperate… can you help me? The description on Google doesn't match.

As long as you don’t get a suitable answer from a current Aol. (e-mail) User who writes you a HowTo with single steps, I can only try to help you with what can be found with Google.

Block email addresses

1. Open an email or select it in the mailbox.

2. Click the icon for
Settings .

2. Click
block on sender.

2. Optionally, emails you received from this sender can also be deleted.

Remove Blocking Email Addresses

1. Click the icon for
Settings | Click on
Further settings .

2. Click on
Security and Data Protection.

Yes and that from Google does not work. I don’t have the “block sender” tab, and there’s always an error message on the support.

Alternatively, you could use a Freeware email program such as Mozilla Thunderbird and use a Junk filter to delete emails from unwanted senders immediately.

Since I don’t have an e-mail account with Aol, I can only try to give you the necessary starting aid, everything else you should try.
